Chitenje said the main bout will be between Aubrey Masamba and Boniface Stenala.

“There will also be several other supporting bouts involving upcoming boxers and the event will start at 2pm.”

He also said renown local boxers such as Wilson ‘Shasha’ Masamba, Philiemon Nkhakamila Banda and Osgood Kayuni will be in attendance.

“The guest of honour will be Chombe Foods Limited managing director Leston Mulli who is one of the major boxing sponsors on the local scene. We are also expecting to have boxing officials,” said Chitenje

Kayuni yesterday hailed the Chitenje family for organising the event.

“It will be the best way to remember our departed colleague who was passionate and dedicated to boxing,” he said. n
