NGO bails out Kasungu school

Kids for Kids, an international organisation aimed at improving child welfare, on Friday donated 20 desks to Lifupa Primary School in Kasungu.

The school, located at Kasungu National Park and has 110 pupils, also received assorted toys for its elementary section.

The school’s head teacher, Boyd Mkandawire, thanked the organisations for the desks.

“I hope this donation will encourage our pupils in their schoolwork,” said Mkandawire.

Presenting the donation, Kids for Kids project manager for Malawi Clement Manjaalera urged school authorities to take care of the desks.

“We want to make learning as comfortable to everyone as possible, but we need you to take good care of the little people give you,” Manjaalera said.
