Hip hop artist Nic Thindwa says he is aiming at making an impression on the international scene following the release of his new Boom Boom.
The song, which features Jerome, real name Bizwayo Jere, was produced by Tricky Beats.
Thindwa, who is based in the UK, says he is aiming at consistence.
“I want people to see that I am serious with the way I do my music. The video for this song took a lot of effort to produce,” he said.
The video, directed by Madalitso Malunga, takes the viewer on a tour of Manchester City in England including scenes of the famous Etihad stadium.
“We left nothing to chance and so far we are getting positive feedback and reviews,” he said.
Collaborator Jerome said he had a great time doing the song.
“I tried as much as possible to add some of my style to it. I think the song came out well,” he said.
Producer Tricky Beats said it was fun working on the song with the pair.
“I feel that the song is a certified hit,” he said.
Thindwa who recently released another single Ndafika featuring Dan Lu said he is working hard to become Malawi great music export in the UK.
