Nico Life’s manager for individual life Steven Kanyoza said on Friday that they thought it wise to boost the event because MDF is one of their key partners.

“Many of their [MDF] employees have policies with us. As Nico Life, we feel proud to be associated with such activities because it is one way of giving back to he society,” he said.

Speaking on behalf of MDF, former army sports officer Captain John Kaputa (retired), hailed Nico Life for what he described as a timely donation.

“This partnership has been there for about seven years now.

“This donation will go a long way in staging a successful event. The hype has already started and units have intensified their preparations,” he said.

Kaputa said among the sports codes to be competed for will be football, netball, basketball, volleyball, judo, athletics, boxing and hockey.

He also promised to provide Nico Life with a platform at the event where they can sell their products to MDF employees.
