Nigerian evangelist converts hundreds
Hundreds of people turned their lives to Jesus Christ through the preaching of world renowned Nigerian tele-evangelist Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, during his four-day Malawi visit that ended yesterday.
Since his arrival in Malawi, among other engagements, on Tuesday, Adeboye preached at the Lilongwe branch of his international church in the morning before he held a rally at Civo Stadium in the evening.
Malawi Congress Party (MCP) president Lazarus Chakwera, who is leader of opposition in Parliament and a prominent religious leader, was the guest of honour at the dinner on Thursday.
