Aubrey Masamba and female boxer Anisha Bashir, who has just turned professional, left the country yesterday for Zimbabwe to join in camp Charles Misanjo and No Pain No Gain’s new signing Zimbabwean female pugilist Kudakwashe Chendawire ahead of the bouts, which have been organised in partnership with Zambia’s Oriental Boxing Promotions.

According to No Pain No Gain director Craig Rousseau, the four will camp in Zimbabwe for over a week before proceeding to Zambia to fight against that country’s boxers Alfred Muwowo, Lorita Muzeya, Congolese-born Mbiya Kanku and Barbara Banda.

“We aim to give our boxers as much international exposure as possible to gain more experience and opportunity for lucrative international title bouts,” said Rousseau, whose promotion has organised international bouts for local boxers for the fifth time. n
