No special preps for BB—Super Eagles coach

Super Eagles have said they are making no special preparations for Big Bullets (BB) since they are beatable just like any other big team.

Super Eagles coach Christopher Nyambose said this during the team’s training at Mzuzu CCAP ground on Tuesday.

Bullets are meeting Super Eagles in the Carlsberg Cup at Mzuzu Stadium this Saturday.

“We are not under any pressure like BB because they do not know us tactically but we are having our normal preparations,” said Nyambose.

But speaking to Radio 2FM after beating Azam Tigers 2-0 in a Super League encounter on Monday, Bullets coach Eddingtone Ng’onamo said they are prepared to deal with any team standing in their way.

“We have sharp strikers such as Gabadinho Mhango, Diverson Mlozi and Douglas Chirambo; and a defence capable of frustrating any other team standing in our way,” said Ng’onamo.

On his part, Northern Region BB Supporters Committee chairperson Bosco Bakali said Super Eagles should not talk too much because the big teams they claim to have beaten or drawn with [Escom United and Red Lions] are not as strong as Bullets.

But Nyambose said his players already brushed shoulders with Gabadinho and the other Bullets players in the Coca-Cola tournaments and they know how to handle them.
