Be Forward Wanderers have expressed concern over their omission from this weekend’s TNM Super League fixtures.

Through a statement posted on their Facebook Page yesterday, the Nomads said they are not amused at having no game despite playing fewer games compared to other teams in the league.

Reads part of the statement: “To our surprise, Sulom has not given us any fixture this coming weekend yet we have played only two games.

“Some teams have already played three games and they have been given games.”

But reacting to the concern, Super League of Malawi (Sulom) general secretary Williams Banda Said: “The fixture was released on November 22 and we asked teams to go through it and make comments officially. This helps to correct anomalies.

“But only Tigers FC commented that they want to combine Mzuzu and Lilongwe games the same week.

“Just to remind clubs that fixtures are released for your planning, so do plan every week.”

Nomads general secretary Victor Maunde said they were supposed to lodge an official complaint by close of business yesterday.

He said: “We were first consulting as an executive before making a formal complaint.”
