Nomads elect new CR committee
Be Forward Wanderers on Saturday ushered in a new Central Region Supporters Committee during elections held at Lilongwe Community Centre.
Rodrick Chitedze was elected chairperson after beating Gift Mawaya who gave up before the vote counting was concluded.
“I am very happy to have won the elections and I have a good vision for the team which includes initiating fund-raising drives,” said Chitedze.
Mawaya accepted defeat and pledged to support the new committee.
Chindikani Munthali was elected secretary while Wilfred Kabwele is the new vice-secretary.
The position of treasurer and vice-treasurer went to Isaac Sisonkhe and Aubrey Chamino respectively. Six others were elected committee members
Presiding officers were Central Region Football Association (CRFA) treasurer PysonLikagwa, Super League of Malawi (Sulom) executive member Charles Manyungwa, the club’s vice-general secretary Chris Kananji and vice-treasurerChuluNkangama.big turn out.
