Nomads get new uniform

Mighty Be Forward Wanderers can now afford a smile after their official uniform finally arrived in the country.

Nsejjere Sportswear, who were engaged by Super League of Malawi and sponsors TNM to procure the uniform, have announced that the kit is finally in the country and that the Nomads will wear it for the rest of the season.

Nomads uniform was delayed after the Lali Lubani side decided to change their colours following the sponsorship deal with Japanese car suppliers Be Forward.

Nsejjere representative Peter Mgangira confirmed that the uniform which has blue and gold colours was ready for the Nomads to use this weekend.

Mgangira said the delay was because they wanted to procure a high-quality uniform for the Nomads.

Be forward Wanderers vice-general secretary Christopher Kananji said it was a relief to get the new uniform after using a temporary one for a good part of the season.

“Somehow, the delay affected the agreement we have with the sponsor, so we are happy that the uniform is finally here, although it’s too late,” said Kananji. n
