The appointments come barely a few days after the Nomads fired coach Felix Fosiko and replaced him with former Flames team manager Stuart Mbolembole.

Nomads general secretary David Kanyenda confirmed the appointments.

“It is part of our drive to strengthen management of the team. Issa served in the same position a couple of years ago when he deputised Humphrey Mvula.

“And apart from being our corporate embassador, Dr. Mtumbuka will also be an adviser to the executive committee. We will announce further appointments in due course,” he said.

Issa replaced Gift Mkandawire who was incorporated into Sulom executive committee.
