Be Forward Mighty Wanderers will chop 10 more players in the next three weeks, coach Elia Kananji has disclosed.

The team has been undergoing rebuilding exercise in the past three weeks with 58 players trying their luck at the Lali Lubani Road. The squad was trimmed to 35 during an internal bonanza held at Country Club Limbe last weekend.

“We will assess the remaining players in the next three weeks to come up with a final squad of 25 players. So far, all the 35 players in the team have equal chances of making it into the ultimate squad,” said Kananji.

Wanderers attracted interest from many Super League players following the team’s securing of the K70 million annual sponsorship from Japanese car dealers, Be Forward.
