NPL social football team, Ayobe Stars, will on Saturday play Roads Authority (RA) football team at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.

The two sides are meeting for the second time in four months. In the first clash, RA won 5-3 and NPL are seeking to avenge the loss.

Both teams drew in their games last week. NPL tied 2-2 with Reserve Bank of Malawi, whereas RA drew 2-2 against Save the Children.

Ayobe Stars coach Macloud Mushani expressed confidence of avenging the 5-3 loss on Saturday.

“Going by the way we played Reserve Bank, I have no doubt we can do well against RA. They are a great team of course, but we have capable players to contain them,” said Mushani.

Players such as Paul Paligolo, Collins Dube, Mabvuto Banda and Reuben Jailos have been consistent for the team and Mushani feels they can do the job against RA.

RA coach Arthur Ng’onamo said they will increase the margin of their superiority on Saturday.

“This time around, the result will be 9-2. It will be a complete victory. We won’t give them space this time. We want to shut them up for good,” said Ng’onamo.
