NRFA general secretary Patel Kaunda told The Nation on Monday that the meeting will also discuss the 2016 Simama Premier League and Mzuzu Coffee Division One kick-off.

“We have invited all NRFA affiliates. There are a number of items to be deliberated including the adoption of the new NRFA statutes.

“We will also discuss the 2016 Simama League and Mzuzu Coffee Division One Trophy kick-off,” he said.

The AGM follows another meeting NRFA had with the teams at Mzuzu Stadium in January this year.

Spokesperson for the teams David Katete said the assembly has come at a right time.

“I am happy that NRFA has finally called for the AGM. This is very good because it will provide the teams a chance to deliberate solutions on how best we can overcome the challenges we experienced in 2015 playing season so that we should have a successful league in 2016,” he said. n
