Northern Region Water Board (NRWB) has clocked 20 years of serving its customers in the Northern Region. NRWB board chairperson Peter Mwanza hailed chief executive officer (CEO) Titus Mtegha for taking the company from scratch to where it is today. Mtegha, the first CEO since NRWB opened on April 24 1996, said the company has a future and urged employees to work hard. Employees saluted Mtegha for instilling a spirit of teamwork where everyone counts and takes part in achieving the board’s goal of delivering potable water for all. Presently, NRWB, which generates nearly K3 billion a year, has installed about 40 000 connections serving nearly 280 000 people in the Region.
