Ntchisi Police hunt for criminals
Police in Ntchisi are looking for unknown criminals that broke into a house of a medical clinician at Ntchisi District Hospital where they stole various items.
According to Ntchisi Police spokesperson sergeant Gladson M’bumpha, the incident happened on January 3 2014 at Chayamba location.
M’bumpha said: “The complainant, Kereen Mtantho, was sent to Khuwi Health Centre for relief duties on December 25 2013. In her absence, thieves broke into her house and stole various items.”
M’bumpha said the criminals entered the house through a window and added that Mtantho realised the development on January 3 2014 when she reported from Khuwi Health Centre.
The unknown criminals went away with two duvets, one tray of eggs, 20 kilogrammes of maize flour and other assorted items whose value is yet to established.
M’bumpha said investigations are underway to be arrest the culprits.
