Nyamilandu, the FAM life president

Walter Nyamilandu is a man on a mission to redeem a nation lost in the woods of football mediocrity. As part of his mission to save a blind and lost nation, Nyamilandu is standing for a fourth term as president of an organisation called Football Association of Malawi (FAM).

Never mind that apart from qualification for an Afcon[Africa Cup of Nations] tournament whose campaign ended disastrously, one would have to search the length and breadth of the earth to find another bright spot in his lengthy reign as head of FAM. But this dismal performance will not stop Nyamilandu from trying to become some life president of FAM. That is because, in his reasoning, he believes things can only go wrong at FAM and in the country’s football because of the weaknesses of other people.That is Walter Nyamilandu, life president of the Football Association of Malawi.
