OG Plastics last eight list complete
The OG Issa Plastics 25-Overs Cricket Tournament’s list of quarter-finalists was completed on Sunday.
Following their triumphs last Sunday, MSC Orange, MSC Gold and MSC White have made it into the last eight stage and have joined MSC Silver, MSC Grey, MSC Blue, Indian Sports Club (ISC) and Oriental Cricket Club (OCC), who qualified for the knockout phase the previous week.
Despite losing to MSC Orange by 60 runs, MSC Gold found their way into the crucial stage through their good aggregate in Group B.
In another match last weekend, MSC Silver roared to 86 runs in 12.5-Overs to beat MSC Grey who made 85 runs all out. The two teams had already qualified before this game.
Despite that, MSC Red’s player Abdul Wahab Jagot, who is also OG Platics managing director, feels his side might still miraculously earn the ticket to the critical stage as anything is possible in sports.
After the game between MSC Orange and MSC White at MSC on Sunday, ISC will face MSC Grey in the last preliminary encounter.
