Other local movies that expressed interest to submit entries did not make it.

“I submitted B’ella but I was communicated that it would not be considered for the 2014 awards because it was late. We did not submit The Designer by Chimwemwe Mkwezalamba because we felt it has a long way to go before it can be considered for any award,” said local film director Taonga Nkhonjera of Dikamawoko Arts.

A panel of judges will analyse the nominees to come up with winners which will be announced next month at an event to be held in Bayelsa State, Nigeria
