Police in Lilongwe have arrested a third suspect in the murder of the Chawinga family, which was found beheaded in Bunda Forest two months ago.
National Police publicist James Kadadzera identified the suspect as a 21-year-old Lilongwe resident Malengano Mphiningo.
He is believed to have escorted the family to Lilongwe.
The other suspects are Senile Mzunda, 16, of sub traditional authority (ST/A) Zolokere in Rumphi, Malekano Mphiningo, 30, and Boutice Mphiningo, 45, both from Mitundu in Lilongwe.
Kadadzera said Malengano was arrested four days ago while his kins were nicked some two weeks ago.
