Oskido’s Lilongwe performance postponed

Platinum Entertainment which summoned South African renown musician, Oskido, in conjunction with Entertainers Promotions has anounced change of performance dates for the artist.

The artist will not be performing at Wakawaka Hotel on Sunday,  May 4 as it was initially scheduled but will still perform on May 11 at Country Club, Limbe in Blantyre.

Director of Platinum Entertainment, Chipiliro Mzanda, told The Nation that the artist has failed to come on, 4 May because of some circumstances beyond their control.

“The dates for Blantyre performance are unchanged, Oskido will still perform on May 11 and in Lilongwe dates will be communicated in due course,” said Mzanda.

He added that they will host Oskido in Lilongwe after the election period.

“We have already secured the venue at Country Club, Limbe and we have finalised arranging security detail. We want to assure people that they should not be worried about security—all is well,” assured Mzanda.

The performance at Country Club, Limbe will be supported by acts from Geamba, Nessnes, King Chambiecco, Black Jack, Skeffa Chimoto and Real Sounds Band.

The show will start at 10 am until late and it is pegged at K3 000 (US$7).
