P Square jets in Malawi

Peter P Square mar15 | The Nation OnlineThe Nigerian award-winning R ‘n’ B duo, Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as P Square, arrived in Malawi on Thursday with a promise: “be there or regret”.

The group, popular for their songs Forever, Chop my Money, Beautiful Onyinye and, recently, Alingo, among other hits, will this Friday perform at Lilongwe Golf Club, courtesy of the African Movie Academy Awards (Amaa.

Dubbed Experience Malawi, their concert will wrap up a spectacular night by Amaa which will start with a nominations gala where 25 categories in the African film-making industry will be announced as finalists for the awards in April.

In a brief interview shortly after arriving at Kamuzu International Airport through South African Airways, the duo said: “We are happy to be in Malawi for the first time, and please Malawians get to Golf Club or live to remember missing this big show.”
