Amid the glitz and glamour of the night characterised by a sizzling dinner, raffle draw and music by Faith Musa, the patrons went home quenched after the spectacular show.
“The show was quite good, the play was powerful and I am happy with some of the changes they have made to it. I think we need more of this,” said lawyer Mandala Mambulasa, who was part of the audience.
Parables first staged the play at Robin’s Park on December 26 last year.
Parables director Bayana Chunga thanked the VIP audience for gracing its return.
“We do not take you for granted. We value your passion to help the Parables to evangelise through theatre,” said Chunga, adding some of the proceeds will benefit blind students.
The group plans to visit blind students on its sponsorship list every month.
