Musician Paul Banda will on September 29 perform at the Squirrels Park in Mzuzu alongside former member of Parliament for Mzimba West Billy Kaunda.
Banda will be performing in Mzuzu for the third time since 2015.
He said: “The news you have received is correct. I am coming to Mzuzu but this time I am bringing Billy Kaunda with me.”
The musician, a brother to another successful musician ‘Soldier’ Lucius Banda, in an interview on Tuesday said he has been performing with Billy for sometime.
“We have been performing together with Billy Kaunda who has impressed me with his performance and together we are looking forward to giving out the best during the concert in Mzuzu,” he said.
Banda said unlike the last time when he disappointed Mzuzu fans by appearing on stage late due to logistical challenges, this time around fans of a timely start.
He said he will perform alongside Alleluya Band and other artists.
“I assure people of Mzuzu and the entire North that I will give out the best performance and that they will dance till they are too tired,” said Banda.
He said he will perform most of his old hits such as Malilime and Mtendere.
Kaunda confirmed the news, saying he will also dish out his best such as Alibe Mawu, Agalatiya and Siungayime Kaye, among others.
Squirrels’ Park managing director Keliphus Tobias said apart from Alleluya Band, the show will also be spiced up by Coss Chiwalo, Paul Subili and Sean Taferakaso.
