“One of the reasons people are struggling to get a job is because they lack the basic interview skills. And most of the times when someone has been offered an opportunity to attend an interview; they miss the opportunity because of lack of interview skills.

“As you know that Malawi is experiencing economic challenges and most of the companies are closing, so we thought it wise to equip these people with skills on how they can grab any rare opportunity for a job, including job promotions within their organisations,” he said.

Chapalapata said People 360 will take the initiative to Lilongwe, Mzuzu as well as various universities in the country.

In a separate interview, job seeker Bright Longwe hailed the initiative descibing it as “a window of opportunity towards attaining dream careers”.
