Malawi music producer Percy Manyozo, popularly known as Pro—Pee, has said he is picking up and is hoping to return to serious business soon.
Manyozo said this on Tuesday in a phone interview when Nation on Sunday contacted him to check with him on how he is doing two months after being involved in a fatal car accident.
The producer was involved in the accident around 10pm near the Winners Chapel Church in Chitawira along Kenyatta Drive in Blantyre. He was later admitted to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in the city.
“There is great improvement on my condition compared to some days ago. At the moment, I am able to do some of the things I could not do just after the accident,” said the music producer.
He added that he is now visiting his office randomly doing some minor work. He said he is able to record music and says those who want to record their music can visit his office.
Manyozo is currently one of the best local music producers in the country. He has recorded songs for popular artists such as Maskal, CODE, Young Kay, Pisky, Dan Lu, Armstrong and Barry One.
In January this year, the producer tasted the international waters after recording a single track calledWapamtima for Zimbabwean hip hop star Dizzy Don which also features Malawi’s Dan Lu.
