Dubbed a sequel to the last highly successful jam held at Mungo Park in Lilongwe in September, this time the fun moves to Motel Paradise with a phungwe on 21 December. On December 24, revellers will trickle down to Mangochi at Zitherepano for the biggest musical bash.

The line-up of artists includes the pride of Chileka, the reggae kings Black Missionaries, plus Anthony Makondetsa, aka Mr Cool, Moda Fumulani and Khozie Matsimbe, Skeffa Chimoto, popularly called the Jamming machine, with his Real Sounds Band, Katelele Chingoma and his new band.

Maskal and Black Jack will appeal to the youth besides the Breaking Silence hip hop group from Ndirande, Saul Chembezi and his Mount Soche-based Super Boys who will also grace the show.

“People expect the best from us and we will go all the way to ensure these shows surpass even the highly successful. As usual, we promise a good sound, smoke bubbles, laughter and tears of joy which have characterised all our Phungwes. We will also give out Entertainers T-shirts in addition to Carlsberg branded T-shirts, cooler bags, glass tumblers. There will also be a Kuchekuche promotion buy 2 and get one for free,” said Entertainers Promotions director Jai Banda.
