Phyzix, Eli Njuchi, Macia team up for summer special

Hip hop artist Phyzix has roped in dancehall sensation Eli Njuchi and Macia Beats for a summer jam titled Follow which ispart of Phyzix untitled upcoming extended play (EP).

In an interview, the hip hop artist said he decided to bring on board the two artists for the single because he is a huge fan of both.

He said: “I am a very big fan of Eli Njuchi and I feel like he will take the music industry to a higher level. So, I wanted to work with him on a beautiful love song. As for Macia, we come from way back in 2009. We did a song together and I have worked with him on numerous projects ever since.”

The audio and video, both dropped today will be premiered on MBC Radio 2’s Made on Monday programme.

“I feel so much love inside  me and I wanted to express that love. It’s summer time and there is no better time to express love than summer,” said Phyzix.

The song is produced by Macia and Stich Fray.

In a separate interview, Eli Njuchi, real name Chifuniro Magalasi, said it was amazing working with Phyzix on the song.

“I like the coordination. We all had to be in the same place to record the song. I hope the public will enjoy it. Let it manifest our personal growth in love,” he said.

Eli said that people should know that Phyzix is a hard worker whose work ethic he admires and emulates in his own projects.

“He made sure we shoot the video so that it is released at the same time as the audio. His work ethic is on point,” he said.

On his part, Macia said he was honoured to have worked on the song both as a producer and a musician.

“It was easy for me and Eli to come up with a nice tune and rhythm because we have been working together from way back,” he said.

He concurred with Eli that Phyzix is a hard worker.

“It was such a pleasure working with these two guys on the same project. It is one good summer beat that fans will enjoy,” said Macia.
