After enjoying a successful 2020, hip-hop artist Phyzix has welcomed the New Year 2021 with a new single titled Kuthwanima.

Featuring Dette Flo, Seven O More, Martin, AchinaGattahAse and Tsar Leo, the song celebrates success after working hard for years.

Aiming to start the year on a high: Phyzix

In an interview, Phyzix said the song is a message to his fans that he is set to work hard and give them more hits this year just like last year.

“I like to start early in the year to pace myself for the rest of the year,” he said.

The Makofi hit-maker, who last year won five awards, said he is happy and confident that the song will do well on the market.

“It is already serving its purpose. So far I am happy with the response the song is getting,” said Phyzix.

Asked why he has recorded the song with such a big number of artists, the hi-hop musician said the featured artists are all his friends.

“I only make strategic collaboration and release.  I am friends with most of them and a fan of them too. We share the same audience,” he said.

The song goes in part: “Ndinkalimbikira pano ndafikapo, Ndinkapusha ngini pano zinathekano, Ine ndine mkango mwina sumadziwa no, Pano ndikuthwanima, ndikuthwanima, Ndikuthwanima, ndikuthwanima”

The beat of the song was done by BFB while Stich Fray did the final engineering.

On the other hand, Phyzix, Martse and AchinaGattahAse recorded their vocals at Janta’s Studio. Tsar Leo and Dette Flo recorded their part at King Duda’s Studio and Seven O More recorded his part at his studio.
