Urban musicians Piksy and rapper Hyphen will this Saturday headline the relaunch of the recently refurbished Club Cyclone in Blantyre.

To mark the event, the place will host a number of activities such as live music performances from top music acts and DJs in the country.

Hyphen: It is exciting

Headlining the billing is the Unamata hit maker Piksy and hip-hop sensation Hyphen. Others are Tawanda, Active X Band and DJ Chinga.

In an interview, Hyphen said he is geared for the show: “It is exciting to perform at the new venue. We tried out the stage a couple of weeks back on Bucci’s birthday but now it is a full performance.”

On his part, Piksy said he wants to use the opportunity to showcase the new techniques he has learnt. He indicated that he will be backed by his Langwani Movement Band.

Club Cyclone director Selvaraj Nayagam said so many things about the place have changed: “We opened an outside bar as well as a restaurant which serves Indian, Chinese and local food. We also built a new car park inside to boost the security.”

The show is expected to start at 7pm till late and patrons will pay K2 000.
