The race to identify four best teams to represent the Blantyre and Districts Darts League (BDDL) at the Presidential Initiative for Sports’ national final starts Saturday at the Blantyre Sports Club.

In a statement BDDL general secretary Diovannah Surtee said the regional finals will start from 9AM.

“Teams that have qualified for the pre-regional final are BSCA, EFCCL, SDI and White Eagles from Blantyre; Balaka Darts and Domasi College from Zomba,” she said.

The teams will play round robin Zone VI format with the top four teams qualify for the two-day national finals to be held in Mzuzu from June 23.

The four BDDL finalists will be joined at the national finals by ladies teams, namely BSC and White Eagles.

The regional finals come some two weeks after BDDL hosted pre-qualifiers at the BSC.
