Dandaula: People should come and identify their appliances

“He was caught on Friday last week with one plasma TV set which he wrapped in a piece of cloth and after interrogation, he confessed that he had been stealing plasma TV sets which he supplies to some electronics vendors,” he said.

Dandaula said the suspect led the police to his clients where the gadgets were recovered.

He said two of the TV sets have already been identified by the owners and police are asking people from the mentioned districts to go and identify their appliances.

Likupe, who comes from Kainga Village, Traditional Authority Msamala in Balaka, has been charged with house breaking and theft.

Dandaula has since reminded the public that buying stolen goods is a crime.
