Police sensitise students on gender-based violence

Deputy Commissioner of Malawi Police Service (MPS) responsible for services and administration, Marine Yolamu and other women police officers have embarked on a campaign to sensitise primary and secondary school students on gender-based violence (GBV).

On Friday, the campaign was conducted at Lilongwe Girls Secondary School where the female police officers held one-on-one discussions with the students.

The objective was to make students understand the roots of GBV and how they can prevent it. The picture shows Yolamu speaking to students.
