The notion of God is sometimes hard to believe, especially in time of trouble and distress.

But it is during this time that God wants to see the measure of one’s faith. The persona in POV’sMukundimva goes through the same phase in faith.

POV has not only stepped up the game for gospel artists but has even stirred some competition even for the circular mainstream music.

No wonder one can hear their music blasting in bars.

The duo creatively puts a metaphor of a phone to represent a prayer. The persona says he disputes using third parties as he suspects they are not delivering his prayers, but this time he will call directly.

Perhaps the POV wants to highlight the fact that its not worth waiting for someone to pray for your problems when you can do it yourself.

Like “doubting Thomas” he asks God to visit him or give him a breakthrough moment. File yokha yanga muigwire msanga anthu osapemphera ayamba kunyoza …akuti wopemphera zake zamudera [please Lord attend to my file quickly because unbelievers are picking on me…saying the Christian is not doing well]. The persona asks God for a breakthrough because it is also for his own glory.

What makes this track a powerful track is not only the danceable beat, or the harmony of the duos voices, but the message which mirrors many Christians lives during the exodus in their faith. But all this is interwoven together with creativity that gives the industry (even circular), a run for their money.
