Kaulanda then told the 34 graduating students to use the knowledge they have acquired to make a difference in life.

“Go out there and realise your dream and help contribute towards national development. Be good and responsible citizens,” he told the graduates of various bachelor’s degree programme like divinity, commerce, business administration, theology and arts in corporate security management.

The university’s registrar Benjamin Ndalama also told the graduates to portray a good image of the institution and also help the nation.

“Those in biblical studies should help mould responsible citizens and those in marketing and commerce should help create jobs,” he said.

Ministry of Education director of higher education Levis Keliyasi Eneya, who was the guest of honour,  thanked Lamau for contributing towards human capital development.

“Faith-based institutions have long been partners in development of education. Education means a lot. As a country, we need to invest in human capital development through trainings. This is what Lamau is doing and we as government are grateful,” he said.

Overall best student Patience Marie Chilinjala, who attained a degree in commerce and business administration with distinction, said she is now ready to pursue her dreams.
