Livuza collage of med apr24 | The Nation Online The body of principal secretary for Malawi’s Ministry of Information and Civic Education Anthony Livuza was taken from College of Medicine mortuary in Blantyre on Tuesday to his home village in Mulanje where burial is expected to take place today (Wednesday).

Livuza died on Sunday at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in Blantyre after a short illness. He rose through ranks and served in senior positions in Bakili Muluzi, Bingu wa Mutharika and the current Joyce Banda administrations. Journalists from both government and private media institutions, people from diverse professionals converged on the mortuary to be with the bereaved family and pay their respects. —Frank Namangale.
