Big Bullets FC are reportedly courting their former Burundian coach Nswazurimo Ramadhan for a return as head coach with Blantyre United mentor Elia Kananji and the club’s legend Mabvuto Lungu as his deputies.

A well-placed source confided in Weekend Nation that a meeting held at the team’s clubhouse Wednesday night also settled for the team’s former stars Fundi Akidu as team manager and Rahim Ishmail as assistant team manager and Ganizani Malunga completing the technical set-up as kit manager.

Club chairperson Kondi Msungama on Friday said Ramadhan is expected in the country for talks on Monday.

“I can also confirm that we are in talks with Elia, who has to start as soon as possible alongside Mabvuto [Lungu] and they will be at par. We also have to discuss Elia’s issue with his current employers [Blantyre United] because we have a good working relationship with them. For now, that is what I can say,” said Msungama.

Ramadhan had a successful stay with Bullets between 1997 and 2000, in which he won the Super League title for three consecutive times.
