Reverend Kuyeli’s burial tomorrow
The body of former CCAP Blantyre City Presbytery Moderator, Reverend Frank Anderson Kuyeli will be laid to rest tomorrow, January 6 2016 at Lauji village, Traditional Authority (T/A) in Chikhwawa.
Kuyeli died on Sunday at Mwayiwathu private hospital in Blantyre after succumbing to hypertension (High Blood Pressure).
In an interview today, Blantyre City Presbytery Clerk Reverend Baxton Maulidi Reverend said Kuyeli collapsed during a church service on Sunday at Namalindi CCAP in Chikwawa.
“He was taken to Saint Matthews clinic at Nchalo, and later to Mwayiwathu where he was pronounced dead at around 9 pm.
“It is a loss to the CCAP flock especially to the congregation he was serving, his family and entire Blantyre Synod,” said Maulidi.
According to Maulidi, the late Kuyeli served as Moderator for Blantyre City Presbytery Moderator from 2006 to 2008.
Kuyeli died at the age of 60 and is survived by a wife, eight children and grandchildren.
