Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary faces extradition as the South African government says it has commenced an extradition process for the two following their alleged escape from the rainbow nation.

South Africa’s Cabinet spokesperson Phumla Williams, in a statement, says Bushiri and his wife have to face justice in their fraud and money laundering crimes they are alleged to have committed.

Williams, who in the statement, describes Bushiri and his wife as fugitives, has also cleared speculations that the prophet used President Lazarus Chakwera’s flight when he went to South Africa for a working visit.

Chakwera’s plane was delayed as he was to depart from South Africa when Department of Home Affairs and immigration officials tried to verify identities of all passengers on board.
