Sadzi CCAP youth cheer prisoners

Members of Sadzi CCAP Youth Ministry last Saturday cheered inmates at Zomba Prison where they donated clothes worth K250 000 (US$556).
Led by chairperson, Jaffet Jamu, the group shared the word of God with the prisoners through preaching and singing before distributing pairs of trousers, T-shirts, skirts, browses and tops to elderly and female inmates.

Jamu emphasised on love and care God renders to His people and said that was why his ministry decided to donate the items.
He further said the love of God is not selective and it is for that reason that the ministry did not target only CCAP members.
On sharing the gospel, Jamu said it is important for the people to spare their time to worship together with people who are incarcerated in prisons as it gives them hope of also being regarded as important in the society.
On behalf of fellow inmates, Andrew Chunda commended the ministry for frequently supporting them in prison.
Chunda asked other Christian youth ministries to emulate Sadzi CCAP’s gesture elsewhere in the country’s prisons.
