Sand Fest season six on October 30
Sunbird Sand Music Festival has announced the return of the festival with its sixth season of the festival on October 30 to November 1 at Sunbird Livingstonia Beach in Salima.
“Today the 15th of June 2015 the Sand Music Festival Organisers announces its return with another epic 4 days of music and outdoor play,” reads the press release that has been made available to nation online.
The press release states that the festival will showcase local and international comedians, local and international Poetry, Boxing, Fashion, and musicians.
“As usual, Sunbird Sand Music Festival will hold the Clean Senga Bay Campaign which this year will be on 15th October 2015,” reads the press release.
Tickets to the festival will be sold at MK15, 000 (US$33) for advance tickets, and MK20, 000 (US$44) for payments at the gate.
“Sunbird Sand Music Festival is calling for applications from artists, [a detailed call is also available on the Festival Facebook page,https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sunbird-Sand-Music-Festival/283327485169646#] where all interested artists from Malawi and abroad will be able to request for application forms,” reads the release.
