Sanudi’s SA team saved from relegation

Big Bullets goalkeeper Swadick Sanudi could have an options in South Africa as his former First National Division team has survived relegation to the third-tier Vodacom League.

Sanudi returned to Bullets recently as Vodacom players regulations restrict clubs from signing foreigners.

But the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has reportedly reinstated Dynamos after successfully lodging a complaint against Carara Kicks for fielding an improperly registered player.

The PSL docked points of Carara, leading to its demotion to Vodacom League at the expense of Dynamos.

Carara, until June home to Jacob Ngwira and Sankhani Mkandawire, beat Dynamos 6-0 in last season’s decisive match that condemned Dynamos to relegation.

A fortnight ago, Bullets general secretary Higger Mkandawire said they had signed the Flames goalkeeper on an open-ended contract.

Sanudi also played for Bullets last season, but he was allowed to reunite with Dynamos. This is his third spell with Bullets. Sanudi could not be reached for his comment on the latest development at Carara.
