Kazuwa said they are confident the line-up will help the Malawi women’s football national team to continue with their attacking play as they fight for a semi-final slot.

“We are going to use the same line-up and approach as in our first
match, where we scored more and defended well,” Kazuwa said.

The line-up comprises goalkeeper Samir Amidu; defenders Emily Jossam, Ruth Nyirongo, Chimwemwe Madise and Patricia Nyirenda; midfielders Madyina Nguluwe, Zainab Kapanda, Sabinah Thom and Asimenye Simwaka and China-based strikers Tabitha and Temwa Chawinga.

Scorchers captain Tabitha said they are ready to incernarate the
Shepolopolo in this potentially explosive encounter that will decide
the first semi-finalists.

The two teams are tied on three points but Malawi have a better goal difference and just need a draw to win the group and qualify for the last four.
