He said the events seeks to address some of the health and lifestyle related problems the working class faces due to lack of time for body exercise.

According to Kadango, the expos will be taking place at various institutions during the day while the conference will be taking place at College of Medicine in the evening.

“We are looking at the alarming rate of diseases such as cardiac arrest, diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer affecting the working class who normally lead a sedentary lifestyle but also those who for some reasons have no time for exercising their bodies,” explained Kadango.

He said the initiative will be of assistance to people regardless of their religious affiliations in recognition that healthy people contribute positively to the development of any country.

“We have invited well known health practitioners to do the presentations including Gandy Madzalo currently working at a Wellness Institute in South Africa who has been going round the World presenting and writing in newspaper about health and wellness,” said Kadango.
