Shammah: It has been hectic

So far, four singles from the yet-to-be released album are enjoying airplay. The hits are My Zoe, Grateful For You, Excellence and Muyende Nane which was released last Monday. The artist said eight out of the 10 songs have been completed.

Shammah said: “It has been hectic but out of hard work and God’s grace we have managed to make the best list.”

The artist has revealed that he has worked with different producers to maximise on variety in the production. Some of the producers he has worked with are Gresham Mokoena of Ituma Production, Jay Emm of 97records and OBK.

“I can assure my fans that this album is everything. I have fused every song with an African flavour and it contains different genres,” he said.

Shammah will release the album under the management of Nthanda Artwork. The management firm says the artist has made progress from his debut release.

Evans Chibade of Nthanda Artwork said: “His stage presentation has improved tremendously and he has grown as an artist looking at the way he is handling the business aspect of art. We hope that this album will supersede the success of his first release.”
