Shoe designer Chimwemwe on spotlight

Blossoming shoe designer Chimwemwe Mwenyemasi is leaving no stone unturned as far as marketing of his exceptional talent is concerned.

He is just an inch away from landing his life-long opportunity which will take his remarkable entrepreneurship skills to the next level.

Mwenyemasi continues to dazzle Malawians with his glamorous shoe designs that have become talk of the town.

Recently, he was the centre of attraction in Lilongwe when he exhibited a collection of his shoes designs at girls’ education fundraising event dubbed ‘Distinguished Gentlemen’.

He hailed Zilanie Nyundo of Blackmore Creatives for incorporating his collection during the event.

He said: “I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. I can see the hand of God lifting me up after struggling to establish myself in the fashion industry.”

The 28-year-old gifted designer exhibited alongside Clemoh Sato who is the best designer of 2011’s Fashion Malawi.

Meanwhile, the World Band Youth Network has requested Mwenyemasi’s profile which it intends to share with its wider community of entrepreneurs and potential investors across the world.

Billionaire Boot is one of Mwenyemasi’s classic designs that have attracted overwhelming response on the social network sites such as Facebook.
