Silver Strikers will, for a third consecutive season, officially be crowned as the 2013/14 TNM Super League champions at the Bingu International Conference Centre this Friday.

“Dressing shall be strictly smart casual. All invited guests are to be given a specified number of cards. Tnm Limited is currently looking at the logistics,” wrote Super League of Malawi general secretary Williams Banda to the press on Monday afternoon.

In an earlier interview, Sulom president Innocent Bottomani said Youth and Sports Minister Enoch Chihana might grace the occasion as guest of honour.

The ceremony will also see the crowning of Ishmael Thindwa as Golden Boot Award winner with others getting recognition as best defender, midfielder and player of the year.

In the previous season, top goalscorer was Vincent Chinthenga, Kelvin Malikebu best midfielder with Gabadinho Mhango being named player of the year.

The season officially ended last Tuesday with Silver getting a three-point cushion on 53 points to shrug off second-placed Moyale Barracks.
