The Over and Over hitmaker is excited to perform in Malawi for the first time, she said.

“I am hereby confirming that Sipho ‘the Big Fish’ Makhabane will be swimming in Malawi on August 26. He is very happy to be invited to come and perform and it is his first in Malawi.

“We know that the people in Malawi love his music. I think it will be good to get one of the local artist to share the stage with him and, of course, to do a song together,” she explained.

The show marks the fifth anniversary of the National Product magazine, according to organiser Steven Chiwayula.

“The magazine, which showcases various products from agriculture to the manufacturing industry, was born on August 26 in 2011.

“Since the maiden publication, the market has been receptive of our product. The event will mark the launch of the 50th edition of the magazine which will focus on transport and construction sector,” he said.

The magazine will award 40 individuals and companies for their distinguished contributions to the two sectors.
