Skeffa Chimoto says his show this Saturday will be one of the best events he has held in Blantyre.

The Lilongwe-based singer is scheduled to perform at 20 Four 7 Entertainment Centre at Kameza in Blantyre from 8pm.

“Though Blantyre is part of Malawi, I have not been to this part of the country for some time,” he said.

Skeffa (R) will be supported by the Real Sounds Band

Skeffa said he alongside  the Real Sounds Band, they are looking forward to the event.

“We miss our Blantyre fans and cannot wait to jump on that stage and entertain them. We will also use the opportunity to talk about life in between songs,” said the Chinamuluma Chakuda star.

Skeffa and the Real Sounds Band will be supported by Saint and DJ Damex.

Commenting on the show, 20 Four 7 manager McDonald Soko said all is set for the show.

“We are fully prepared for Skeffa and Saint tomorrow. We have looked at tightening up security to minimise unnecessary incidences,” he said.

Soko said when hundreds of people gather one cannot rule out the possibility of high tempers.

“Skeffa rarely holds shows in Blantyre and this is an opportunity for Blantyre residents to watch the ‘jamming machine’ live on stage,” he said.

Chimoto has six albums to his credit with his latest Masomphenya enjoying airplay on various radio and television stations. n
