Skippers FC are through to the quarter-final of the Central Region Presidential Women Football Cup after they trounced Stinners FC 18-0 at Dowa TTC ground.
National team striker Linda Kasenda led the massacre, netting eight goals to set the pace in the Golden Boot Award race.
Tifa Malunjika and Omega Kapulukira scored a hat-trick each while Bridget Mkuzilire claimed a brace. Dyce Lingo and Fatsani Kazembe scored a goal each.
It was a one sided game and at half time Skippers were leading 8-0.
Kasenda said the game was a mismatch.
“It wasn’t a strong side and we could have won with much wider margin,” she said.
In other matches, Lilongwe Stars beat Ntchisi Queens 7-1 while Kauma stunned Dedza Select 3-0.
